Reactivate your Email Address

This tutorial will show you how to reactivate your RealNames email address if you had previously deactivated it.

Note: Deactivation can also occur if RealNames attempts to auto-renew your email address, but cannot due to the credit card info being incorrect/out of date.

Upon reactivation, your email will be fully functional. Any messages you had when you deactivated will appear in your mailbox.

Your old password for this email address will work again upon reactivation.

To reactivate your email address:

1. Log in to your RealNames account at realnames.com/signin.

2. Click on the gear icon to the right of the email address you wish to reactivate.

3. Click Reactivate Mailbox.

4. Click Reactivate.

Your email address is now reactivated!

The address is shown as active after this procedure, but still cannot be used to login the webmail or be accessed from the smartphone.

Hi! I have problem with renewal of my e-mail address. I changed my billing address, I tried with three different cards now and all I get is a message: "Can't authorize $35 on card". I have enough money on both cards so I don't understand the problem. I tried both credit and normal cards. I have no problem paying with them on the internet. I wrote on the help desk yesterday but no one answered. My request no 240083. Could you please help me - my email is expired now and I really need it.

This whole system is a buggy and totally outdated crap! Updating the creditcard doesnt work, becouse updating my old Visa to my new Mastercard, creates a totally nonsense, Visacard with Mastercard number.

Not only that the price for my email address has increased from $5 in 1997 to a ridiculous $35! Lacking support for SPF, DKIM, DMARC, many providers are not delivering e-mail from this address at all!

Despite I like to keep my email address which I'm using since 1997, every year when I pay $35 for this crap, it leaves me a really bad feeling, saying that I've should switch to another address. If nothing changes very soon I'm gonna leave! $35 for Postfix, Dovecot, SpamAssasin and Roundcube which are even not properly configured with today's email standards, is just worth nothing!

Reactivated my email. Still can't login. A week later and 2 days after no response from help... Still waiting on that call back too. Lousy customer support.

    Same issue as David.
This is frustrating. I need to know how to transfer my email account to another provider. Every year I have the same issue. No response, no support. I can't accept this. I need my email working 24x7. I wish I had selected this provider. I should be able to move it to another one.
